Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to every customer (“Client”) of the Anna AI receptionist and related services (the “Service”) provided by Global Roots Tours LLC d/b/a Global Roots Services (“GRS”). It is part of, and incorporated into, the AI Receptionist Service Agreement. Client is responsible for how it configures and uses the Service.

1. Comply with the law

Client will use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Client is responsible for the legality of its own business, its calls, and its communications.

2. Call recording & consent

Client is solely responsible for complying with all call-recording, wiretap, and consent laws that apply to its calls, including obtaining any required consent from callers. Recording-consent obligations may be governed by the location of the caller, which can include states requiring all-party consent. Client will not disable or circumvent any recording disclosure that the Service is configured to provide.

3. Automated calls & texts (TCPA)

If Client enables or directs any outbound calls or text messages, Client is solely responsible for compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule, Do-Not-Call requirements, SMS/A2P messaging rules, and obtaining all legally required prior consent. Client will maintain records of consent.

4. AI disclosure

The Service is an artificial-intelligence assistant. Client will not configure or use the Service to misrepresent that the caller is speaking with a human, and will not disable any AI-identity disclosure the Service is configured to provide. Client is responsible for any additional disclosures required in its jurisdiction or industry.

5. No protected health information on the standard Service

Unless Client has arranged a separate HIPAA-enabled plan with a signed Business Associate Agreement, Client will not use the Service to transmit, store, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) or other regulated health data.

6. Prohibited uses

Client will not use the Service to: engage in fraud, harassment, hate, or illegal activity; violate the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others; impersonate any person or entity or clone any real person's voice without consent; transmit malware; collect or process biometric identifiers without required consent; or send spam or unlawful marketing.

7. Enforcement

GRS may suspend or terminate the Service, without liability, if GRS reasonably believes Client has violated this AUP or applicable law, or to prevent harm. Client's indemnification obligations in the AI Receptionist Service Agreement apply to any violation of this AUP.
